| The Strangers Apple - Trailers - The Strangers Looks like it may be good. What real events is this supposedly based on?

| I dunno. I think movies in general, but especially scary movies, need to go easy on the giving away so much in the trailer. Sure they could be using extra scenes, but there at the end we're shown 3 bad guys with the 2 good guys, and they have the line about "Why are you doing this?" "Because you were home." Plus there's the guy from Always Sunny walking around doing god knows what. Really, I think I'm just an uber nerd, because the most memorable part of the trailer is the short little sound effect of an animal screeching that is also used in Warcraft 3 when you kill a little gnoll. |

+18 Internets | Looks really suspenseful, which is about the only thing that can scare me these days. The voice at the end sounded like that Zoey chic. Last edited by Ham n Cheese : 05-04-2008 at 11:21 PM. |

| Plug Life! | My mom started letting me watch horror movies when I was 4. The first one I remember seeing was Halloween.Since then I've been unable to be scared by any movie. This movie intrigues me. I'm a little dissappointed they showed the creepy guys in all the trailers so it's not going ot be a shock when you see them on screen but it look like a good suspense movie. Have'nt been to many good American horror movies lately. Been watching a lot of asian horror to get my fill. Last edited by Alyssarie : 05-27-2008 at 03:20 AM. |

+25 Internets | I know it might be a little off topic here, but this is bugging the everliving shit out of me. <-- You put spaces after periods. Now there's a debate how many (it's two spaces, there is no debate I lied), but the internet simplifies it and you can only put one space after a period no matter what. I still put two anyway, but only one shows up. Please. Please for the love of God put spaces after periods. |

| Usually only fucks with female pilots, 'cause they got the illest cockpits | There is only supposed to be one space after a period. The two-space rule was created when typewriters were the main form of writing. Typewriters use mono-spaced type, which made it hard to read if only one space was given after a period. Computer fonts (unless specifically named mono-) do not fall into that category as every letter is given its own width and they're not all the same. Anyone familiar with typography will be annoyed when reading your word docs with a double space after a period, pretty much the same as they get annoyed when you're using double-spacing on your lines and you still indent. It's not necessary. But yes, please put one space after your periods.

| BUBBLES THE MONKEY!!! | Off topic. I'll agree with James. If you're not going to use even one space, why bother with the period? Just make the whole thing a fucking run on (and I knew someone who used to do this and it drove me insane). Okay now back to the topic at hand. Yeah, this movie looks like it could scare the shit out of me and I really wanna see it. Probably end up going to a Friday night showing. |

This movie release date coincides with my birthday - now I have to choose between this, Iron Man, or Indiana Jones >< | |

| This movie looks pretty fucking scary actually. Looking forward to it. My gf couldn't even watch the preview the other night after we completed watching Stephen King's "It" (thx scary movie thread, that was a good one, too). |
