Alien vs. Predator: AVP2 (2007)

Hard to believe but they are actually making a sequel to this. I'm actually kinda sad that the Predator franchise didn't get more movies, I thought the first two were good.

How they managed to fuck the first one up is beyond me. Seriously, I thought only George Lucas had the capacity to take a guaranteed hit and pummel it so far into shit towne that even the rabid hardcore fans decide it would be better to anonymously Netflix the flim than suffer the shame of being seen in public wanting to view the refuse.

It made Alien 3 and 4 look like blockbusters.

The first movie is directly based upon the novel, "Prey" -- BUT, they changed a SHITLOAD of things in the movie, which baffles me, which makes me suspect is the reason why the movie did poorly. The book is wonderfully written and could've done well, imho.

Shit, there were even 2 sequels (lolol) to "Prey" -- Hunter's Planet and War.

Sucks that they never do anything completely based on the books, tho. I miss Machiko!

How you can take 2 films both with a hard R rating combine them and turn them into PG-13 baffles the shit out of me. I would watch AVP2 if it was NC-17 and promised to make up for AVP one with the blood of the innocent.
