+32 Internets | Quarantine zombie movie! Apple - Trailers - Quarantine - Large with the sister from Dexter. Looks like Blair Witch zombie movie? I'm not sure I understand how this one zombie was missed but whatever, it looks cheesy and thats the only requirement for zombie movies. |

| I recently saw the original Spanish horror flick "Rec" after seeing it advertised around the net. What an incredibly jolting and horrific thrill ride. I thought the acting was good. Kept me at the edge of my seat hearing these people converse in Spanish and completely go insane from the events of the movie. It was similar in style to Blair Witch Project, yet on adrenaline. Once the action started, it was like a rolling stone. It didn't slow down at all. It was suspenseful the whole way through until the very end. I definitely recommend this film to any horror lover. |

| BTW, a sequel to [REC] entitled [REC]2 has been announced in Spain. The announcement was made through the posting of a teaser poster for the film. No release date has been announced so far, however it is being rumored that the film makers are seeking a release prior to the release of Quarantine. And it looks like the same directors and crew who made the original are all back for the second one. ![]()

| You have to either import it or download it, because the assholes who bought the rights to make a shitty remake of it also now control its release in the US and are deliberately holding it back until long after said shitty remake is released. If you want to buy it, you'll need a DVD player than can handle PAL and Region 2 discs. DiabolikDVD has it in stock, here's a link because the movie is a pain in the ass to search for. As for downloading, it's easy enough to find on torrent sites or usenet (a.b.movies.divx / a.b.hdtv.x264) in either standard xvid or 720p x264. If you hate subtitles for whatever reason get the x264 one, it's also dubbed. | Plug Life! | Watched the original Rec the other day, for some reason I thought the American veersion had already come out. I guess not. I'm not sure how good he American version is going to compare. I for one LOVED the spanish version, one of the best horror movies I've seen. Generally when the Americans get ahold of foreign movies they fuck them up. Original Shutter and Grudge were way better then the American versions, but that's just my opinion. I recommennd you watch more of the directors stuff. Jaume Balageuro and Paco Plaza. |

| Some previews just give away far too much. Remember The Sum of All Fears? The extended preview was cliff notes for the film. It was just stupid. edit - I just saw it and it game me a headache just like Cloverfield did. I thought it started out pretty strong but as soon as the lighting goes to shit and everyone is running around screaming and the camera is whipping back and forth in darkness I just get tired. Just too much screaming from too many characters. I want more stoicism!

| I don't understand why they always need to make American versions of great foreign movies, period. I suppose they did market studies and realize that most of the public wouldn't come if the movie doesn't have an American feeling to it?
