| Movie to check out: Antibodies (2005) (Antikörper) I must start out by saying that I had never heard of this film before last night. I had just finished watching There Will Be Blood, was a bit disappointed by it and I wasn't really sleepy so I decided to cruise around Netflix and check out all of the movies that were in the watch now category and I came across this film called Antibodies that was made in 2005. It is a foreign language film and they speak entirely in German so the movie is subtitled in English. In German the title of the movie is: Antikörper which means Antibodies in English. I seriously never heard of this movie before and I just checked it out randomly. The graphic beginning of the movie really pulled me in. I have no clue where they came up with the title of the movie as it really had nothing to do with the movie and the movie must have had horrible marketing because I had never heard of it before. Anyways, the film is kind of a Silence of the Lambs type film with a little bit of some other great american thrillers mixed in that I don't want to mention because it would spoile the movie/plot. I guess I can spoiler them so look at your own risk: Spoiler Alert, click show to read: If you really enjoyed Silence of the Lambs as I did then you have to check out this film. Yes it is a bit of a copy cat of Silence of the lambs but it still works in this movie and I must say that if you have seen Silence of the Lambs you have NOT seen this movie. It is a good serial killer thriller of good vs evil that was well acted and pretty intense. I must note that I love thrillers like Silence of the Lambs where there is a good vs evil thing going on and you get to see into the mind of a madman, but unfortunately there are very few good movies like these. So some of you might want to check out this movie because I think you might enjoy it, even though it is subtitled. If you see it let me know what you think, I am curious to see if anyone else liked it or hated it or whatever.
