TGS07: Advent Children gets dirty on Blu-ray - Joystiq

So I know this is kind of old news but I guess that when Advent Children comes up on blu ray it is going to have some new features and stuff and be spruced up a bit for HD. I heard rumors it might only be released in Japan, and that there is still no release date scheduled for it yet. Anyone heard any news about this recently? It seems to me like this could be one of the most badass blu ray movies yet. Ever since the PS3 came out I have been waiting for this to come out.

If it can be played on a DVD Region-1, then it's fine with me. Honestly, who the fuck listens to the English dubs, anyways?

Amazingly I found where the Japan DVD rip was on my network. From the sub file:
"Drifting, drifting..."
"Drifting, drifting..."
"How long are you gonna drag along like that, yo?"

Makes more sense and sounds a whole lot better than "Dilly dally shimmy shammy, dilly dally shimmy shammy..." Fuck the industry that is below the worst fansub standards.

Yeah I prefer it with the English subtitles as well. The people they have do the voices just sound retarded. Even if it only releases in Japan, if it has English subtitles and can play on American PS3's that's all I really care about.

It's not the translations for me, at all.

It's the voices. They're just not the voices I associate with the characters, and as such, it's unbearable in English. I imagine this kicks ass on blu-ray though, might be time to upgrade me to one of them fancy dohickies.

Follow the context, it's not too difficult, even for you.

I prefer the movie with english subs as well. The cloud/seph finale is just better without english voices imo. Then again it is such a fucking badass scene that I don't really care that much
