The new movie with Jackie Chan and Jet Li "The Forbidden Kingdom". I completely forgot about this, but saw the trailer on yahoo movies here and I must admit I'm kinda disappointed. I mean the fighting looks great and all, but I thought it was going to be some epic story between the two. The whole kid transported to another time period fantasy adventure thing might ruin this movie. I guess the writers thought it would be every guys dream to be in the middle of a war with the two guys or something so they decided to throw the random upper-middle class kid into the storyline for kicks(keke). We'll see...

1) The kid looks amazingly like Shia and with that, it probably should've been Shia instead.

I liked every piece of the trailer except for the American kid thing ruining yet another movie.

You're right about the lookalike thing. He really does look like Shia with that same stupid look (see especially 00:26-00:29).

But Surf Ninjas was epic.

It counts as a shitty movie.

But you people need to get the fuck over the little cracker "ruining" it. I highly doubt they started filming a martial arts epic pitting Jackie Chan against Jet Li and then said "Hey wait, this needs some annoying kid from Boston in it!". It is what it is, it's not a Jet Li movie with someone added in to ruin it, it's a stupid movie about some kid getting transported through time or what the fuck ever that they managed to get Jet and Jackie to be in. Get over it.

That would be sweet. Of course you band of tards would start an internet crusade to get him replaced with Donnie Yen and turn it into a 4 hour epic about the Ming dynasty.

This movie is going to be stupid. We all know that. But from the jump it's NOT what we all want it to be(Chan vs. Li ass kicking fest) and it's not meant to be.

The only thing that bothers me is Chan and Li speaking english, they should speak in mandarin w/ subtitles.

Why can't we get a REAL action movie with Chan/Li/Yen fighting each other? Is that too much to ask? If only I had a terminal disease, damn Make a Wish foundation and your stringent rules!
