Leatherheads + 88 Minutes.

I'm grouping these together because I went to see Leatherheads

Leatherheads Movie Reviews, Pictures - Rotten Tomatoes

and it was so bad I left about halfway through. It was an attempt to recreate the snappy dialogue of a golden era comedy and ended up not only being unfunny but it didn't ever go anywhere.

I so I walked out and across the hall into 88 minutes

88 Minutes Movie Reviews, Pictures - Rotten Tomatoes

which I started 15 minutes in. The acting of every single character was just god fucking awful. It was horrible, I was hoping Al Pacino would end up dead, the plot was unnecessarily complex and paranoid, and the 88 minute gimmick was dumb.

Do not go see either of these films. Period.

Agreed on leatherheads but i didnt pay for it. thank god i got a nice crop of internet that saved me 11 bucks in finding out this movie was a piece of dogshit. I havent seen 88 minutes yet but the commercial looks just plain silly, is it just me or does the modulated voice on the phone sound exactly like the voice of Jigsaw?

just finished watching 88 minutes, yes its bad, but its not as horrible as some people are going on about. Its certainly not as bad as some of the movies released this year, leatherheads was much worse than this. do not pay for this movie but if you can see it for nothing, then its a good timekiller.

Can't say anything for LEatherheads, but 88 Minutes was a great movie. Not sure where the hate is coming from, but whatever...

BTW... for those that care there is a DVDrip (Legit) torrent of 88 minutes.
Saw it at the theaters but while looking for some other movies (cheesy gore flicks actually) 88 Minutes was in the "New" section of the search. Mininova had it.
