+12 Internets | Live action ghost in the shell DreamWorks to Make 3D Live-Action Ghost in the Shell - Anime News Network Usually I would curse at this point but with spielberg involved this might be good. I hope they make it dark like the tv series and movies and not like the not so great manga. |

+12 Internets | Original ghost in the shell movie. The sequel innocence that came out a few years ago. And the movie based on the tv show that came out a year ago called solid state society. Last edited by Kobalt : 04-15-2008 at 03:20 PM. |

| The show and the solid state movie were awesome. Not really interested in a live action movie at all, would rather see Cameron's Battle Angel now thats going to be some hardcore shit.

| Avatar is in post right now,so should be close to coming out soon. Although Avatar looks gay as hell,at least hes done with it. There in prepro for Alita so barring Cameron going insane we should see the movie in the next 5 years or so. I can wait that long since thats the kind of movie he will hit out of the park.

| I haven't gotten around to watching the first two movies, but the TV series and the movie based on it are among my favorite anime ever. Since Spielberg is involved and he seems passionate about the series, that alone gives me great hope for this. Don't fuck it up, Hollywood. |

| I hope these all come out around the same time. Akira, Battle Angel, and now this. Maybe it's the next evolution of untapped movie rip offs, or maybe they really do have a love for this stuff. All three of these movies are epic stories. Relax though...I mean can these really be as bad as Transformers? (knocks on wood). |

| Akira and angel will probly be very good judging by the people attached to those movies. Ghost in the Shell will probly be a stinker....
