The Incredible Hulk

Ed Norton Set To "Hulk" Out (April 16th 2007)

I am a huge fan of Ed Norton so I really hope this doesn't suck as bad as the first.

I've never understood the hate for Ang Lee's Hulk. It was no masterpiece, but it was a better comic-movie than just about anything else Marvel has produced.

If I was going to rate all the Marvel movies, Hulk would be somewhere in the middle. Blade, X-men, Spiderman, and Howard the Duck are all better than Hulk... okay, maybe not Howard the Duck.

The final fucking fight in a god damned Hulk movie WAS NOT A FUCKING FIGHT! IN A HULK MOVIE! ARGHGHJHGROJGOUG So fucking stupid! No Hulk smash. No "Strongest one there is". Nope. Just him fucking grunting in a lake. What. The. Fuck.

Anyhoo, other than that I kinda liked the movie=P Bana did a decent job, and the story wasn't too bad.

I want this movie to end with him turning into the mean fucking Hulk that eats people and wrecks entire fucking cities, and then like the Avengers show up. And that's the end, then in the Avengers movie after all the juxtaposition etc that's what it builds up to. Them stopping him.

Meh, I've always liked the Hulk/Avengers dynamic I guess.

Ang Lee's Hulk has Nick Nolte in it. That is enough to make it a great movie and one of the best "super hero" movie there is. The best being of course Unbreakable since it has nothing to do with cheapo comics in the first place.

Unbreakable is badass, and Nick Nolte is a super legend and shit. I did not like The Hulk.

Ed Norton beefing up again will be pure cash money. Shoulda beefed up for 300 and starred as King Leonidas, imo. I expect to see Hulk curb-stomping some military ass like it was going out of style. Don't let me down, Edward.

If they don't have at least 1 hardcore Hulk smashing rampage I will be superpissed. None of this bullshit desert, only fighting military people crap. He has to wreck a city. At least one. That's the biggest beef I had with the Ang Lee one(aside from the fucktarded end fight). How the hell do you do a Hulk movie without a fucking rampage?

Filming begins this summer in Toronto under the helm of Louis Leterrier ("Transporter 2," "Unleashed") and is said to have a less self-serious take on the material than Ang Lee's 2003 effort.
This pretty much just doomed this movie to being worse than Ghost Rider. Who knows though, maybe it'll be alright.

The only two Marvel movies I ever want to see them make, even if it takes 20 years, are Civil War and Planet Hulk. Wont ever happen, but maybe.

Planet Hulk I could see. Hulk as a big gladiator fighting for freedom could be an A+ movie.

Civil war, not so much. First problem being between Civil war, Frontline and all the tie ins, its around 100 books. This isn't even including the Illuminati lead up or the current Initiative. Obviously a lot of it could be cut to make a movie (Wolverine's books, Vendetta, are all about him getting Nitro for example).

The bigger problem is the main players aren't identifiable enough. I don't know how much America would want to see a movie about Ironman's Avengers v. Captain America's Secret Avengers. Throw in the fantastic four, spiderman, SHIELD and Daredevil (Xmen could probably be cut) as well.

Maybe if we had a Ironman or Avengers movie first...

Civil War is just to BIG to be a movie. You'd have a hell of a time to get the licensing on all those big names under one company.

I liked Bana =/

Wonder if it was because he wasn't interested or they wanted a new face.
