Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D

So yesterday I saw the trailer for this at a DLP promotions tent. It is being promoted at the first Digital Live-action 3d movie. I was pretty impressed with the visuals on it. With brandon Fraiser I expect it to be really corny kids movie, but since I have kids I'll be seeing it. I am curious to see how well the movie turns out with digital 3d, I figured some of you would be interested as well.

What the fuck is this. The novel was awesome, but this disneyfied crap has fail written all over - with capital letters and shit for ink. Did the writers even read the book. It's a dark tribute to exploration and the human spirit. IT DOES NOT FEATURE SLAPSTICK COMEDY.

this looks pretty good, ive seen all the journey to the center of the earth movies and they are not the same theme either. the 50s one was more of a pioneering mission, the 70s one was kinda of a finding your inner self kind of movie. i wouldnt mind watching brendan frasier yuck it up all the way down. and in 3d!

I am more interested in it from a tech point of a view. I think seeing how well 3d does in a full digital film would be interesting.
