No, he is a douche for the 50/50 comment. I he would have said "Liked he work, disagreed/didn't like his stance in the NRA", thats a lot different then "man, I am 50/50", which translates into "I am half happy the fuck is dead"! Christopher Reeves held a ton of political views that I didn't agree with, when he died, I still thought it sucked, not a single bone in my body was happy. People need to learn how to separate the ideological ideals from the men, Reeves was a good guy, so was Heston, disagree with them, sure, but no one should be happy he is dead. Well, no one except for the douche bags who post here and poke fun/hate on anything they can.

The NRA was such a small part of Heston, though. This is a man who stood side-by-side with Martin Luther King, Jr. and marched for equal rights. That's why I laughed when Michael Moore's documentary insinuated that the NRA was still devoted to denying guns to blacks. Heston was pro-civil rights and pro-gun ownership.

Its not about opinions, its not about me being surprised..I didn't scream in some fit of moral indignation at his comment..I called him an asshole, someone else seemed surprised I did so, so I explained it..How come you fucks feel like the world should take it in stride when you act like assholes, but when someone actually calls you an asshole, your all fucking shocked?
