The production quality was actually quite good for (what I assume to be) a joke.

Done right, I guess it could be a decent movie. That's true of nearly any good game. But, of course, that wouldn't happen.

Makes you think how awesome it would be if they put a lot of effort into actually making the movie. I actually got damn excited just watching that half ass attempt.

this is a joke because nintendo will NEVER EVER be so stupid as to allow hollywood to TOUCH one of their franchises again. it will never happen. nintendo doesn't trust shitty usa filmmakers. and rightly fucking so.

Seeing how that's their only project, yes I am going to say it is.

There is no way some small indie place doing their first film is going to get the license to make Zelda.

It wasn't their first film. But even on their website it says, The Legend of Zelda: Teaser Trailer. They were just hired to make a trailer for April 1st.

It would be a pretty good secret that nobody in the gaming world knew there was a zelda movie in the works til a full blown teaser gets released on april fools of all days. a zelda movie is pretty big news in geekland. of course it was fake, a zelda movie wouldnt probably translate well to the big screen anyway. link storms like 10 different castles until he finds the right one? thats a bit thin.
