Malice in Wonderland

Malice in Wonderland (2009)
Director Simon Fellows
Cast is pretty unknown and no major stars. An Alice in Wonderland remake with a modern tone is doomed to fail I think.

An American law student in London. Knocked down by a black cab, she wakes with amnesia in a world that's a million miles from home - Wonderland. We follow her adventures as she's dragged through an underworld filled with twisted individuals and the lowest low-lifers, by the enigmatic cab driver, Whitey. She needs to find out who she is, where she's from and use what wits she has left to get back home in one piece. As her journey progresses she discovers nothing is what it seems, realizes that fate and life are terminally entwined, and finds true love lurking in the unlikeliest place.

Jeesus whats with all the Alice takes coming out soon? This is the third one of heard of in the past year or so.

There the Alice one based on the video game, then there's also the Tim Burton one w/ Depp as the mad hatter.

Instead of bastardizing Alice in Wonderland like that, they should just make a movie out of Neverwhere (Neil Gaiman). Preferably a good movie that will let people forget that the BBC mini-series ever existed.

American McGee's Alice is the only version of that story I'm at all interested in seeing a movie of, and I'm pretty sure that movie is never even going to get into pre-production, especially now that Sarah Michelle Gellar is no longer attached.

God I hope they don't screw it up :/ Alice in Wonderland are my favorite books. Their all levels of fucked up.

The Tim Burton version with Johnny Depp doesn't sound bad. I think Tim Burton could pull it off.

Not if Uwe Boll gets his dumb fucking Kraut hands on it.
