most violent movie ever?

it doesnt necesarrily have to be good at all. it can be downright fucking terrible. just want to know what u think the most violent movies uve seen are.

i really havent seen any movies id call ultra violent. i guess the wild bunch was pretty violent. especially for a western in 69.

Old John Woo was very violent.

I still like Robocop though for good old american violence.

I didn't see the show, but I'm sure some of you saw the commercials for the documentary about RoboCop last week.

It said that Robocop was rated X like 11 odd times before it was finally let go as R rated after editing.

Dunno if that was purely for violence, or if they had some sexual content in there that was taken out (I don't remember much sexuality, though I could be wrong.)

Hahah the first thing I think of when I hear RoboCop is one of the very last scenes, where this guy gets drenched in acid and wanders around like a zombie, and then RoboCop explodes him with his car.

The very last scene is stupidly awesome. I cant remember what RoboCop says but right before the end boss tries to kill our hero who is pinned under some wreckage - RoboCop uses his last ounce of strength, produces a large spike from one of his knuckles and then drives it into the bad guys throat. Then I believe there is a slow motion scene of the bad guy backing away with blood gushing out of his neck for a couple of minutes.

You can actually get the Unrated version of Robocop on DVD if you want to see what they had to cut out of the movie. One shot is when Murphey and Louis pull up behind the getaway truck and they shoot out that guys knee. There is a closeup of the knee right when it gets shot, like extreme closeup and you see it just blowing up. Second shot is right after Murphey's hand is shot off you see another closeup of him picking up his wrist off the ground and you can see like the stump and a bunch of blood starts pouring out of the wrist. Then during his execution you see a bit more, his actual arm getting blown off and dropping to the ground. Also when he gets shot in the head I "think" in the theaterical edition you only see him shot in the head from the front, in the unrated you see it from behind and the brains fly into the camera. When Ed-209 is demoing and blows the crap out of that guy he gets it even worse. After he gets shot onto the model of the city there is an extreme closeup and has about 20-30 squibes going off on his legs and up onto his chest. Also in the orginal ending, which is not in the DVD but you can read about in the screenplay / book is that instead of putting the data spike into Bodikers neck he actually punches him in the face and his hand goes right through his head.

However, if i had to pick one seriously, it would be a toss up between we were soldiers or saving private ryan. both pretty good war movies.

Black Mask? Are you serious? No way in the world that movie is the most violent ever. Not to mention it was a fucking retarded movie.

If you went for the amount of Violence in a movie i'd say We Were Soldiers is up there, Robocop, and the first Die Hard had alot of action.

If you go for the intensity of the violence, i'd say Natural Born Killers or Casino.
