A good movie for anyone. I never knew Conlin could play a character with depth. =)

Fantastic movie. Thought the depressing parts, while surprising, may have been a bit too much as I had zero idea it was going to have those kinds of downers and the ads for it played it likea comedy.

Still, great great flic, wish it had gotten wider marketing and appeal.

What a great movie... just watched it recently, and i've gotta say collin farrell for once got a hit considering his horrible streak of horribleness.

the dialogue's are funny as fuck, at least if your not retarded, the emotional scenes were pretty damn emotional and the action, what little there was, was intense.

solid 9/10

I loved the movie. Poor Belgians, they don't deserve all the bashing

I loved the dialogues too:

"It's Jesus Fucking Christ's blood! Of course you don't HAVTA!"
"You can't sell horse tranquilizer to a midget!"

What an awesome movie! I love when they both told the fat fuckers to not go up the stairs, then they are later closed cause some fat guy fainted up top.

Wife showed it to me yesterday. I was very reluctant to watch it due to Farrell but man, it was one of the best of 08.

The lennon shit with the Canadian was my favorite part.

Just saw this last night. Very different from what I expected. Short and sweet, but Colin did a pretty good job imo.

The marketing made it seem like it would be a comedy, and while parts of it were indeed funny, the movie's more serious undertones were what kept me intrigued. The action was half comedic and fairly realistic, and I think the characters were well done. A bit short, but I think that actually made it work a bit better.

8/10

I really enjoyed the movie, but was not that impressed by Farrell. Or Fiennes for that matter (but Brendan Gleeson was great). I also feel the movie is a little too clever. Pieces fit a little too perfectly together. This little puzzle game, that needs not be, detracts a tad from the meat of the movie which is the existential crisis of the characters.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I am refering to the wuwu ending or things like Gleeson's character using the coins to be sure no one will be under when he jumps, coins that were introduced to us earlier when he tries to buy the ticket to visit the tower, etc.

This movie ruined my life, now I require every movie I see to have midgets getting karate chopped in the neck.

Needless to say my movie viewing selection has dwindled to almost nothing

I could swear that the midget actor was played by the same dude from Death at a Funeral, but apparently there are two different midgets with a role in different dark comedies.
