+75 Internets | Thor I don't think there was a thread about this, and if one is brought up it will magically disappear. Thor is a comic book adaptation for this guy: ![]() Thor (2009) So who is going to play him? I've heard of Triple HHH of WWE ![]() And Lucius Vorenus of Rome ![]() being talked about. Personally I think Triple HHH would be too campy and Kevin McKidd is too small. Kevin Sorbo could do the role but I've never seen him act intense, and Thor is intense. ![]() Tyler Mane is another option but ... nah. ![]() I think Vladimir Kulich could also be a good pick ![]() Oh, and someone needs to go ahead and rapidshare the Mighty Thor comic books in this thread for those of us (me) who don't have torrent capability. | haha sweet i can't wait... i think triple h looks the part better than the other two, plus hes already proficient with a big ass hammer. he wasn't too bad in blade trinity either, plus its always fun watching wrestlers act or try to act. |

+5 Internets | While I agree in principle, wasnt his character extended in Blade: Trinity because the director like him so much and said he worked real hard to just not be another shitty athlete turned actor? Depending on what Marvel plans to do with the franchise (Avengers?), HHH could work to be given a shot |

| I saw Blade: Trinity, but I did not notice HHH doing anything which indicated that he'd gone beyond "shitty athlete-turned-actor." That movie was very bad, and he was silly. Karl Urban is the only person that occurs to me who has the look and youth to do it, but maybe there are some really suitable unknowns. No one would've guessed at Tobey Maguire for Spiderman, right? |

| I just hope they don't fuck it up.....the latest comic series of thor is probably the best comic from marvel atm. And it's so easy to completely fuck the character up in a movie.

| Sorbo and HHH really look the part. Vulich does as well and I think Urban could also but it depends on their beefiness.
