+6 Internets | The Happening Apple - Trailers - The Happening M. Night's new film. I've enjoyed all his films so far, hopefully this one will be better than the last two though. |

| I liked Lady in the Water, especially Paul Giamatti, but did not like the fact that M. put himself as the fucking writer that's gonna herald the new world or whatever. That's some bull shit. I'll be seeing this one, but I can't imagine it's going to have a satisfying ending. I also couldn't help but think of this video by Radiohead: |

+13 Internets | I've always thought M. Night was a great director but just an average writer. Would love to see him direct some other people's scripts to get some confirmation on that though. |

| I have to say, aside from Unbreakable I've always been more annoyed by M.'s movies than entertained. They start with an interesting premise and then slowly reduce it till it's ridiculous and it pisses me off each time. I haven't seen Lady in the Water though, I just get bored of his inane "twists" that do little more than confirm that foreshadowing effectively has never been his strong point.

+16 Internets | I fear we will get another serving of his cheap mysticism. But hopefuly, Lady In The Water tanked enough for the producers to have him on a tighter leash so maybe the scenario will be better than his last three movies. Still a great director in my book though.

| I think you guys are being a bit too harsh on Lady in the Water. If nothing else, it's better than some of his other films (Signs, Village) because it's not like OMIGOD WHAT A TWEEST! There's like some minor shuffling going on at the end, but it's nowhere near Bruce Willis is a ghost. I thought it was a fairly well told story with some really solid acting. The scene where Cleveland talks about his family in front of everyone gets me every time. I put it up there (on a sadness-o-meter) with Brooks Hatlen being released from Shawshank. |

| Wtf, I guess my opinions are skewed as I have never seen Unbreakable/Sixth Sense. Signs was the first movie I saw of his and I thought it was fucking amazing and I was scared like a little bitch watching it. The Village not nearly as much and Lady in the Water was only cool for the lawn wolf. After watching this trailer is looks like ppl either get Sonic Boom'd to death (everyone holding their ears), or knowing M. Night its just some friendly ghosts or some other weird bullshit. I personally wish he would just use this film to retire rich and just make the perpetrator ninjas, just befuckingcause. No one will see it coming! |

| In the trailer (if its the same one I saw at the movies, I am at work so can't watch this one) they show a cop dead with what I assume was a bullet hole in his forehead.. I don't mind seeing this guys movies, he does try to make something non-standard, and generally they are well constructed. The villiage was ho-hum for me, but well put together I thought for example. He does attract a horde of movie goers who just have to post they worked out the "tweest" (was that a robot chicken referrence) in the first 5mins and the movie was shit for them afterwards but. I will be seeing this for sure. |

| I consider Signs, The Village, and Lady in the Water (less so, but it was still awful) to be among the worst movies I've ever seen, so I have little hope for this and the trailer reminded me a lot of Signs. Pretty sad, considering how great Sixth Sense and Unbreakable were. |

| I still don't get how people thought Signs was good/scary. You people must have lost all sense of taste before turning that movie on.
