no argument there, freeman is awesome and was awesome in shawshank, just saying freeman in any role does not work as was the case in Kiss the Girls. i was a big fan of that series and they could have had a nice franchise but they fucked up by putting a much older man as Cross. wish they would remake that series.

How... the fuck... did this get cleared? I thought there could never be a shittier movie than 10,000 BC until I saw this pile of shit. The effect of it's shitty shitascular shitary is seriously the shit. Think I'm saying shit too much? It would take 3000 or more instances of the word to come close to what this "film" deserves.

Sad part is, it's made 120mil so far...

am I the only person in the world who actually enjoyed The Happening? I enjoyed the 50's melodramatic feel to it. Yeah, it was a bit silly, I laughed every time I heard someone say the word "happen" or "happening", the trailer for the movie is retarded (but in a LOL kind of way). B-Movie with a 50's throw back - I liked it.

I saw this on DVD yesterday. Biggest pile of shit movie ever.

From start to finish I could tell that M. Night had his hands ALL OVER IT in every aspect: The bad acting, the horrible dialog, the forced characters, the stupid plot, the superfluous explanations, the terrible cheese...I can go on and on.

I pity you those that have seen this movie...and I despair myself because I am now among you.

I liked it. Laughed my ass off the entire movie. For the first half of the movie it was just me and my friends and I was beginning to feel like an ass until everyone else in the theater caught on and started laughing as well.

finally saw this piece of shit. my expectations were extraordinarily low after hearing from everyone what a piece of shit this movie was jesus christ did it suck. what was the fucking budget for this movie? i can't imagine it being higher than 50 mil considering the whole thing was shot in some random fields, it was 85 minutes long and the headlining actor was friggin marky mark. is his acting always this bad? and on top of it all after putting us through this abortion of a movie he has the nerve to throw some environmentalist bullshit in our faces. so much retarded shit in this movie that was just there for shock value. the two kids getting blown away by the dude with a shotgun and marky mark does nothing? m. night couldn't even think so far as to have a scene where someone gets infected by the poison and marky mark has to subdue them to stop them from killing themselves. really some god awful movie making here.
