| Your Top Movies Since 2000 The movies you liked the most, the movies you thought were the most well made, the movies you can still to this day sit down and watch and be totally engrossed in them. Whatever they are to you, your top movies since 2000. Fortunately for me my list covers all the aspects I described above. 1. The Prestige (Quite possibly my favorite movie) 2. Zodiac (This movie is so bad ass. Oscars wru? It's right on par with Country and Blood) 3. Road to Perdition (How this film didn't get a best picture nod is beyond me. At least it won cinematography.) 4. Requiem for a Dream (When I first saw this film I was pretty heavy into drugs and it just destroyed me.) 5. Catch Me If You Can (The movie that made me a Leonardo fan) 6. House of Sand and Fog (A movie that vastly broadened my tastes in movies) 7. Children of Men (Once again, no best picture nod. It was way better than Babel.) 8. Memento (Christopher Nolan is fucking awesome) 9. Gladiator (A fucking classic masterpiece) 10. Serenity (Best sci-fi movie in 20 years.) I understand some people might not like list topics, but meh, I thought it was a decent enough time scale. Edit: Oh, and I didn't include No Country For Old Men or There Will Be Blood because I've only seen them once. All these movies I've watched at least 10 times and every time I enjoy the same as the first time I watched them. I'm pretty damn sure No Country will be on my list once I see it a few more times, that movie was just awesome. Last edited by Blumpster : 02-05-2008 at 02:16 PM. |

| 1. The Return of the King 2. The Departed 3. The Fellowship of the Ring 4. Kill Bill Vol. 1 5. Mystic River 6. The Royal Tenenbaums 7. Gladiator 8. Kill Bill Vol. 2 9. The Two Towers 10. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Pretty hard to pick 10 from such a broad spectrum. I'm pretty sure I probably left something out. The order is also not necessarily accurate, I just listed 10. Also, before anyone bitches about the exclusion of No Country, There Will Be Blood, or Juno: I haven't seen any of these yet. Yes, I'm aware that's crazy. Waiting for DVD. |

Oh, and it doesn't matter how many you list. You could put down 50 if you really wanted to. There were about 3-4 that I left off just to get it down to 10 just for the hell of it. Last edited by Blumpster : 02-05-2008 at 03:51 PM. | |

+23 Internets | I really wanted to put collateral in there. Seems like not many people really watched it. Tom cruise had a good string of movies for a while. Minority report, vanilla sky, Tha last Samurai, Collateral

| Yea, 28 Days Later was the hardest one for me to leave off of my 10. I think I did it because sometimes I can't really finish because I begin to think what it'd be like if I was in their situation and my daydreaming takes over. |
