Are you a registered user whose account has not yet been activated? Have you been sitting on our waiting list for months, or even years? Do you think you could be a valuable, contributing member to this community?

Please PM me to let me know about your presence. Oftentimes our registration backlog gets so full that it's impossible to hand-activate everybody in the queue. Small things, like taking 5 seconds out of your day to send me a message about your account, will help set you apart from the rest of the pack.

Please keep in mind that we run IP background checks on all users asking to be activated. If a check reveals that your account is actually a secondary account from an existing user (a so-called "sockpuppet"), or worse, a new account from a banned user, your account will not be activated.

EDIT:

Some people have PM'd me recently, not sure if this offer is serious or if it's a joke. I assure you, I'm serious. I am very interested in adding valuable new members to the community. Oftentimes it's very hard to get around to everyone if I don't hear from them. But if you PM me, I will activate you (provided you don't meet one of the two conditions stated above). Obviously the bribery thing is a joke, but the part about PMing me to get activated is not.

That's right! $25 will get your application to the front of the queue, and an additional $10 will further "grease the wheels of commerce," so to speak.

Everyone from '06 or later should have to pay monthly dues for the 2002 crew. Back in our days we had to trek through 10 zones at night with no infravision and buff for an hour just to kill one little dragon. Hit us with some kickbacks.
