+75 Internets | yeah. we had 1 confirmed station, but they didn't show. An unconfirmed station showed up, parked and put on their hazards, but then they drove off a few minutes later. The only press we got was from a local college. disappointed. big fish don't want to get fucked by scientology. |

+27 Internets | Unfortunately I had to work so I missed the Portland one, anyone that went know how the turnout here went? Maybe I'll make the Ides of March. Edit - Local news video: KOIN Video Sounds like the turnout was fairly small here. Last edited by Lonin; 02-11-2008 at 04:19 AM.. |

+17 Internets | They will also get more turnout when they get closer to spring. I didn't go down to New Haven due to a concern for driving 1hr, to find 5 people there. And that it was in the high single digits, and low teens wind chill wise.

| I used to work in the Starbucks right across the street from the Co$ in Toronto. Late night shifts would be spent staring at the building, trying to see what was going inside. Scientology has always completely creeped me out. Alot of them were regular customers too. For a cult that is so down on alcohol and drugs, they sure smoke and drink coffee like it's going out of style. One girl used to come in and be really friendly with me. My co-workers used to tease me that she liked me. One day she actually TIPPED me... after that day she never came back. One night after the bars a friend of mine bought a full cooked chicken from the Rabba down the street (no idea why) and he went right up to the Co$ lobby and starting banging on the windows as hard as he could. The people behind the desk inside tried to ignore him. My friend then thought that banging louder and holding up the chicken he had bought would help. I was busy hiding down the street. That place freaks me out. I wish I could have made it down to show my support.
