| Anyone thinking about going to the one in NY? I think its supposed to be in Times Square. I am debating about going myself, even just to see how the turn out is.. and possibly support, even though besides handing out fliers I'm unsure of how else to support the demonstration other than being there. |

The point of a protest is not to magically make the people come out of the buildings and go "oh crap we were wrong", it is to make the media pay attention, and the more people on a street when those cameras go by, the better. | |

| Even being there as a bystander will help promote the cause, if you aren't willing to get involved. Media will pick up the event even if their are only a few protesters, so long as their is a large audience. |

+11 Internets | I'm pretty impressed with the momentum. One of the goals was to make this is a political issue in which candidates have to comment on. I haven't seen that happen yet, but you never know. Anyway, any of you guys going to these protests? Like a firm commitment? The dallas protest is pretty big and I'm going with myself and three buddies. |

+75 Internets | I can't help but think some of those guys are taking the Fair Game thing too lightly. Why bother wearing a medical mask if you're not wearing sunglasses/hat? that one photographer isn't even wearing shit, prime target for scifags. |
