+35 Internets | Cha Ching I got to thinking about scientology as a business model and realized that if I managed to start a movement that was merely fractionally as financially successful, I could totally graduate debt free. So I threw around some names a bit and here's what I have so far... Scythe-entology! come reap the rewards! Sigh-entology! life is exhalerating! Psi-entology! we know what you're thinking... Cyan-tology! We'll blue your mind! I really have no idea what the contents or the belief system will be but I figured that hasn't stopped anyone else with these kinds of projects. All I have to do is make sure I copyright protect everything I do for the next few years, up to and including seizures and bowel movements. Then I will release all of my revelations in a handsomely leather bound encyclopedia set. Or screw that... I might just develop a program showing people how they can create their own golden cash cow by making a personal cult. Forget becoming your own boss now you too can be your very own personal messiah. At any rate I whole heartedly support anonymous. The mind fuck market needs a good shake up or else any of these other start up religions are going to agonize in vain. +35 Internets | Cult Busters Before anonymous there was Ness. I respect the whole public information campaign approach, but there seems something so right about knocking sense into people using a wooden bat. |

| Hahahah. I'm personally of the opinion that the protests are going to be kind of underwhelming and the whole thing will die out, but it's been interesting to watch the amount of hype and publicity that's surrounding the whole affair. |

+26 Internets | That article is actually full of win, especially since they give a short synopsis of the Xenu story, and seem to be the first piece of media I've seen that doesn't refer to "hackers on steroids." They're actually reporting. I'm of the same mind Azrayne. I think the best thing that could happen would be for the CoS people to react, and for that reaction to be caught on film. Who knows, maybe Anon will keep it up and not lose interest, but I think the odds are against that. Last edited by Adam12; 02-09-2008 at 12:25 AM.. |

| I agree, but if they can somehow muster up enough people to get the news to pay more attention and let people know wtf scientology really is, its a win. IMO Anon has already won. I have informed quite a bit of people that i know about all this. None of them knew what it was. They litterally had no fucking clue.

+17 Internets | I think the more powerful result is if the CoS uses any of their past tactics to attack people who were at the rallies. Anon could do an excellent job of publicizing the slandering that CoS may attempt to do to people. edit: just read the newsweek article. That was an excellent report. Lacked a ton of the bias many others have had. It seems every new report that comes out is siding more and more with anon. Scientology is definately the right enemy to take on. It doesn't really have public support, and will not be defended by the public as anon continues their fight.

| It will be successful enough. There have already been 100 people at certain anon sci protests already. Feb 10th will have good showings at certain areas. Even if only 3 areas have big showings, thats quite enough for overall win.
