That was not me that said there was a larger Scientology thing. Someone else said that. I just said I am from the area, I live about an hour away from Nashville. I dont remember the persons name that said that, but they did say they have a center near the Vanderbilt area. Might want to try scrolling back through the thread to see who said that. I dunno where they are in TN here hah. Sorry cant help ya.

Interesting read, I guess I never thought of Scientologist as anything other than some fringe group of loonies, I never knew they were so underhandedly covert.

I hope you intended "legitimately" in a very loose sense. Warez, porn, and lulz can only entertain people for so many years, eventually they'll "mature" and find a purpose.

In this particular case the purpose happens to be a justifiable campaign against a shady corrupt target that the public can support.

Its more of a mix of lulz and serious business. If anonymous indeed puts a major dent in Scientology and is the spark that burns them down it will be hilarious to me at least.

That's assuming that anonymous is a specific group of people, rather than a demographic.

Teens-Twenties will forever be entertained by warez, porn and lulz. This "campaign" is simply a larger form of lulz.

We can only hope, wait or participate to push our own agenda regarding anonymous actually accomplishing this.
