Considering what many lead actors make in big budget movies, 500k is peanuts. And I have to concur, that while I'm no particular Shia fan, the problems with Transformers really had nothing to do with his skill as an actor.

Its not that Constantine was essentially a bad movie (which it was). It was just an awful adaptation on part with Aragorn and Dark is rising. Mediocre movie hideous adaptation.

Put me in the 'I liked Constantine' crowd. I thought it was a good movie. Good story, Keanu did a fine job and the other actors were very good as well.. especially Gabriel.

I must have been the only person that really enjoyed Shia's role in Transformers?

If there was one part of Transformers that I didn't really enjoy, it was how over the top John Turturro's role was. And I fucking love John Turturro.

Seriously, it's like the Star Wars version of Jestor Rodo and Sam Deathwalker rolled into one.

I have heard of him before , but you are right, I am only half a fanatic then he is.

Back to the OP. I was always under the assumption that Lucas had at least rough outlines for the 7-9 episodes. It really isnt that hard to believe that at some point he would make them or turn them over to someone else to do. I have not read the scripts so I dont know the story but if its not over after the death of Vader then its not over.

Id rather they just do some CGI/animated version of them though and release it all at once instead of doing another long drawn out trilogy. I dont really care if it fucks with the expanded universe because if this is how Lucas wanted it then thats how it is. Id rather see the creators vision of how Star Wars ends instead of some shit a fan made up.

Chances are it will be gay but I would still go see it just because I like the series.

not exactly related, but the Family Guy spoof of A New Hope was pretty funny IMO.

Rather have the samurai jack guy animate the last three movies. The clone war shorts are so much better than ep1-3.

Its gone hollywood obviously, as seen with the glossy cheezy drama from 1-3.

Theres no turning back time, so I don't see why anyone would want to see 7-9 on the big screen?? What could possibly be your motivation? Comparison of suck to 1-3? I can agree with that I guess.

I'm quite confident that in our lifetime at some point we'll get to see remakes of the Star Wars movies on the silver screen. And I don't know whether to be excited or afraid.

Didn't see anyone bring this up but the books by Timothy Zahn would make a decent candidate for being the source material for 7-9
