Im a huge Potter fan and that movie was soo damn butchered it made no fucking sense. It was 3 times worse adaption than Goblet of Fire. Im not trying to flame you and would like you to explain to my retarded mind what was so good about those 2 movies? I saw both in a big ass theater with awesome stereo on opening weekend. i didnt stream them off the net either.

Pirates 3 was a fun movie. Maybe if I had done it I wouldn't have had the Sea Queen be such an integral part, but it was the primary motivation for Davy Jones. Without her there was no Davy Jones. Johnny Depp acts like a retard in every movie... some of us call it 'eccentric' and he pulls it off better than anyone else.

Whatever.. if you don't like them, that's fine but a lot of people do.. and Hollywood makes movies for a lot of people, not you.

Fair enuff, but i like Johnny Depp in every movie i have ever seen him in even his small role in Nightmare on Elm Street. his performance in Pirates 3 was a big letdown. like he was a caricature of his usual self.

In the movie they specifically say, Davy Jones is the one who told the pirates how to do it.

He looked so octopussy cause he refused to ferry the dead to the locker :P

And Depp's character was pretty loopy already, coming back from the locker (hell whatever) is why he was so much more so f'd up.

Not to say the plot was amazing, but they did atleast explain what you just bitched about, maybe watch it again with an open mind.

Potter 5 was not as good as the others, Pirates 3 too deeply into the supernatural but still provided good entertainment.

Indy 4 will probably bomb worse than any of those.

Secondly, Shia is an actor just like many others, and his performance is greatly based on his director. I'm sorry but I've seen him in Constantine, and I Robot, and although his roles were small he was convincing and funny, and I certainly did not find his performance bad in Transformers. If you want to blame the cheesy lines, blame the writer. I bet you're one of those people that think Natalie Portman is french toast in a woman's body and when someone points out how lame she was in Star Wars, you probably retort "Well that's Lucas' fault!". How is this different? Hell, if Indy 4 sucks, you can blame Lucas again, I just saved you some time for your next troll session!

As for Indy, I'm a huge fan of the series, but if anything is going to ruin the series at all, it's wanting to bring a sequel so late. Some things are better left untouched, and I'm pretty sure Indiana Jones should have been left where it was, in a wooden box in some huge government warehouse, right nex to the Ark of the Covenant.

After thinking about those three movies i noticed two things in common with all of them.

1. All three are based on another medium.
Toys-transformers
Comic book-Constantine
book- I,Robot

2. In each of those movies he is the exact same character. You cant really be considered a good actor till you actually act. Not that i dislike the guy or the movies he was in.Nor to say he really had much room to show any acting chops in those roles. just saying

PS. Constantine was horrible

Edit: pirates 3 better than the 2nd inferior to the first. Mr. Sparrow being perma drunk instead of just having the aloof retard facade with underlying super craftiness kinda sucked. But i actually liked the supernatural aspect to it. Pirates are pretty much inherently supernatural to us. Quasi historic comic book figures after all.

I'm one of the very few that loved Constantine.

Pirates 3 was decent, I just didn't care for Jack seeing and talking to multiples of himself. It just seemed cheesy to me and don't forget the marriage on the boat. Ugh..just horrible.

I remember watching Micro Wars or whatever it was named by guy who did Samurai Jack. Was awesome. 3 long movies of that, it'd watch any day.

Genndy Tartakovsky is a god among men. I totally discount episodes 1&2, just watch the clone wars miniseries and RotS and I consider that the prequels.
