Awesome cyberpunk/scifi movie, not widely released in north america, but I found the DVD at Blockbuster.

Its french, but has a good english soundtrack as well. Story is very well done. The cell-shaded animation works very well, and gives the movie a gritty feel even though it is animated (motion captured from live actors).

I wish these same guys got the rights to do Neuromancer and Count Zero, they would do it right.

I don't know how good the english dub is, but it can't be worse than the original french dubbing because it was atrocious. In fact I never got around to see the movie in its entirety because of it.

They have some decent actors doing the english dub, Daniel Craig does Karas, for instance...

I watched the film with the french voiceovers, with english subtitles... I'm not very fluent in french, so it sounded great to me :-)

You can't even really tell its dubbed. Cool effect + mediocre plot = worthwhile watch.

This is actually on Starz tonight at I think 9pm. Just happened to notice it in the listing this morning.

I really dug this movie. Loved the black & white animation and thought the story was decent. Recommend it if you're into noir and shit.
