The next major movie to come out is Tropic thunder, also next wednesday. But at least next week Star Wars and Mirrors open on Friday. I would assume since it's August, movie companies were planning their schedules and said "Fuck, we have a lot of movies left to go in the summer" and then jammed them all into the next 3 weeks. | |

| I just saw this last night, I LOVE it, It was hilarious, me and my girl couldn't stop laughing. Yes I agree with the others, they try to make it more of an action film, than a comedy but there are lots of funny moments throughout the movie. So DON'T walk in expecting SuperBad, cause it's not SuperBad Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

| Loved this movie. I always thought James Franko was a douche, but I loved him in this movie. Man this was a good, entertaining movie. I liked this 5x more than The Dark Knight.

| Haha I missed the Rancor line. The "you're going to go to college next year, get into godspeed you black emperor..." line made me laugh so fucking hard I couldn't hear the rest of it. Go in with low expectations and this movie rocks. |

| So I shoulda had the perfect stoner experience. Bought tickets earlier in day for 7pm showing. Arrived at 630 with 3 friends, smoked a big blunt right outside movie theatre. Met up with some more friends and went in and saw the movie. Left and got taco bell. Should have been the perfect night, but I was not impressed. It was not a bad movie by any means. But it no where near lived up to the hype. Reading quotes like "greatest stoner movie ever" in rolling stone are all BS. It wasn't that much of a stoner movie. I saw step brothers last night. I thought that was much funnier.

+10 Internets | I lol'ed pretty damn hard during the car chase scene. I laughed my ass off when Franco was caught, he looked at the back guy and said, "Looks like you got fucked up by a coffee pot bro" I dunno, I'm no stoner but I enjoyed the movie for what it was, mindless entertainment. I wouldn't pay to go see it again but it's something I would probably buy on DVD. |
