+5 Internets | Going to have to agree. You throw just about anyone else into that role, and neither of those movies are anywhere near as good. Bag on him all you want, call him a steroid freak if you must, the man brought a certain presence to his roles that is not easily replaced. |

+13 Internets | As much as I would love to see some movies set in the future with the fight against the machines, I know that they would just be like the Star Wars prequel, and not live up to expectations, and more likely ruin the dream, so to speak. And the reason people hate T3 and are against T4 isn't that they don't live up to T2, that's pretty unfair expectations, but that they are more likely to ruin the franchise totally in the same way that alien3 and 4 did. If they announced that James Cameron is back to write and direct and Arnold would be staring, then bang, instant 100% support from me, and probably most fans, but having new people milch of someone else's creative work just seems to parasitic. |

+23 Internets | Hahah good point. I don't wanna see him in some cheezy ass movie though, all of his movies might not be the greatest but whatever. There should have never been another terminator without James Cameron.

+1 Internets | Arnold was a perfect choice for a literally unstoppable killing machine. And while he may not have been the best of actors, I can't help but think more than a couple of tears were shed at the end of T2. Arnold's typical robotic acting overlaid by a robotic attempt to actually act worked remarkably well to portray a robot learning to be more human (but not quite getting there). It turned Arnold's weaknesses into assets for the film. I wonder if the script writers took Arnold's acting into account when writing the character? If so, that leads to a whole new level of awesome. Sorry all you T1 fans, T2 was by far the superior movie. For what it was, it was pretty much perfect and has stood the test of time well. Yeah, John was a douche, and a lot of the dialogue is very cliche to modern ears; but that's because of the enormous cultural impact the movie had. And it was a damned Arnold action flick. Can't wait for Cameron's next projects though. |

+6 Internets | Don't get me excited like that! I want the only images of the Skynet vs. humanity battles to be the short clips shown in T2. I feel like a whole movie following the beginning of the resistance and the battles just won't live up to anyone's expectations. ![]() I'm sorry, but Arnold was perfect as "The Terminator". He just screams "I look like a giant robot covered in artificial human skin." The one thing I did really like about T3 was Nick Stahl. If it played any part in him getting the role in Carnivāle, then it was a success. |

+10 Internets | I'm pretty sure the movie will be shit because of the director, but I think a cool cameo would be present day oldass Arnold as a scientist=)

| Hell yeah, he'd be a good John Conner. I'd like to see an initiative on the next California ballot that calls for our governor to have a part in the movie as well. Global warming, education, and health care can take the back burner, we have our priorities. |
