Not to mention the whole "I don't know I'm a robot!" angle that ought to be in the fucking wikipedia entry on "cliche." This on top of trivializing the Conner character.

Not that T3 came close to doing justice to one of the most brilliant IPs in science fiction. T2 was a fucking masterpiece of cinema directed by a master filmmaker. You don't just abuse this IP by writing a script with nothing but explosions and robot tits.

From the clips we've seen, the T-600 has the guns bolted to its forearms. Also, all of the humanoid Terminators are infiltration units of sorts. The early models may not be great, but all they needed to do is fool humans long enough to get within firing range. Let's assume most humans don't know about the terminators, so once they do recognize them for being machines, it is too late.

I believe the T600 "does" in fact have the gun attached to it's arm, just to reinforce the above quote. It was mentioned in the book.

Everything is an infiltration device now. With the exception of the Harvester, those new bike fuckers, the Ogres and the HK's, pretty much every model is a "seek out human life and destroy it" model. The nuclear war was the main extermination method, now they need to root out humans in all their forms all over. The rubber skin on the T600's was the first attempt at letting the machines get close enough to humans to kill them. And I'd assume the reason why all the endos are human shaped is probably that it's quicker to build an endoskeleton than it is to grow/graft skin onto them and make them look halfway decent. Might be a backlog of soldiers waiting for skin.

I always wondered what the machine AI has planned for when the humans are exterminated completely...

Makes me think of the Animatrix episodes about the Machine City.

I can't find the link but I read a report-I think on AICN-awhile back about how McG wanted to have the second movie they do be about FutureConner traveling back in time to right before Judgement Day started and try to fight it out at the beginning instead of "10 years later". I really hope he was kidding...

Yeah, it'd be older than the 600. Arnold was an 800, Cameron/Cromartie are 888's

The "series" Schwarzenegger played was a T-800. "Model 101" is apparently a sub-type. (appearance and whatnot)
