Wanted

Haven't seen a thread for it or heard anything of it previously, so thought I'd make one and link the trailer for the movie.
Believe it's based of a comic book, which I have not heard of before.

Starring: Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman...

Wanted trailers and video clips on Yahoo! Movies

Other Info:
Wanted (2008)
Top Cow
Wanted (comics - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Always nice seeing Angelina in an action movie again, even though the movie will surely only be..."entertaining" at the most.

Harry Potter with assassins. I mean, serious.

It might be interesting depending upon (action x log[angelina_tits])/(how stupid the plot is x CF) (where CF is the constant "Cheese Factor").

I think this movie will manage to both take itself too seriously and be laughably bad. I look forward to the Rifftrax.

I kind of enjoy mindless action films like this. Lets hope the action sequences are great. It's the equivalent of Diablo on film. Mindless entertainment~

And Angelina is still awesome. Even if that black eye make up was kinda freaky.

I'm there, almost reminds me of Equilibrium.

Thought the Matrix sequels were done?

Clearly this movie is trying to take itself seriously with the way the trailer is presented, but I think it's going to be lol bad.

I like Angelia when she looks dirty like this. So, so dirty.

Saw the preview for this the other day...

As others said, either going to turn out good, or way too serious and be terrible. Either way, I'm going to see it.

I'll end up seeing it. James McAvoy was really good in The Last King of Scotland.

Another comic book movie screwed up.

The comic was great and very edgy. Made the bad guys good. The character Angelina is playing had cat ears. This was nowhere near the wannabe matrix clone it looks like now.

Saw the trailer off the old 360 and it looks great. Same guys who did the Matrix. I think it looks better than anything else coming out around that time.

I think over the top Hollywood blockbusters like this would be sooo much more entertaining if the main characters were all hand puppets with celebrity voice overs.

Yeah, it looks like it has even less in common with the source material than Timur Bekmambetov's previous work. :/ On the bright side, I still liked the Night Watch movies despite that, so maybe there's a glimmer of hope.

Nah, I'm not that much of an optimist. This is going to be terrible, and I'm going to be one of the dumbasses buying a ticket on opening day anyway.
