+18 Internets | Seriously still thinks this looks like the corniest shit ever. The two kills they show in the trailer with their super action movies are completely unnecessary. One is a guy in a business meeting where he curves the bullet (ever heard of a sniper rifle?) and the other he comes over the guy and kills him in a sun roof? Shit smells so corny to me edit: just noticed there is a russian trailer on previous page, will watch |

I don't read the comics, movie looks fine whatever. This though seemed pretty obvious to me. If you use a Sniper Rifle,or any gun for that matter, Forensics/ Ballistics whatever, can tell you where the shot came form. Being able to curve a bullet would make it seem like the bullet came form somwhere it didn't, which could be handy . Like it seems like it came from the grassy knoll but really it came from wherever , type of thing.

| Granted, there are going to be parts of this movie that will be kinda cool, but for the love of God why do they add stupid ass shit like curving a bullet? That is so over the top idiotic that it makes a little part in the back of my brain just plain hurt. The person who compared this to Equilibrium earlier I gotta disagree with a bit. That was so far in the direction of Fiction, that you can suspend belief a helluva lot more than a movie like this that looks like it is trying to make it seem halfway believable. Take The Professional. Bad ass movie.. and they didnt add curving bullets or anything that far fetched(you know.. that break the laws of physics). They didnt need to. Gah.. maybe Im just pissed cause it looks like it could be so good and that 'stupid nerve' in my brain just keeps twitching a bit too much. I so want to be wrong about the 'stupid shit'. |

| Is Neo going to return in this one? What about the Agents? Is Morgan Freeman playing a future Morpheus?

At any rate, I would suggest watching Night Watch and Day Watch if you haven't already. You might not like them (Day Watch is a lot better) but at least you'll see where the director is coming from and why curving bullets really should be a non-issue. Edit: US Red Band trailer (a little different from the Russian one) ... Last edited by Vorph : 06-20-2008 at 07:10 PM.

| I haven't seen Day Watch yet, but Night Watch was pretty boring. It had a couple cool parts but other than that I couldn't really sit through it.

+16 Internets | My take on this would be that if you add a single very absurd element in your movie and remain dead serious about it, it feels stupid, but if just about everything is completely over the top absurd and you remain dead serious about it all, it can work pretty well. So.... curving bullets in Stalingrad would have felt stupid, curving bullet in Wanted seems fitting.

| I disliked the Dusk Watch trilogy movies that they made but I think this movie is vastly different. I can't wait and was thrilled ever since I read the comic book when it came out and was hoping they would make a badass movie for it. The more trailers I see the happier I am getting so far. |

+18 Internets | I watched Night Watch, was not very impressed to be honest. Watching the red band trailer again the part where he curves the bullet from on top of the train seems so unnecessary, since he curves it before he gets there and by the time the bullet hits the dude he's right in front of him heh |
