What character next?

Besides projects that are already green lit such as Green lantern and wonder woman. What Comic book character would you prefer to see brought to the big screen??

I'm only talking about the heavyhitters I.E. Marvel/DC world, and characters that have yet been picked up. I am basing this off of some of the more unknown characters obviously.

For me it's a hard choice but the thought of Ryan Reynolds playing deadpool sounded almost too perfect. Also put down who you think could pull the role off if you can think of someone.

If they do make it into a movie I will be very pissed If Reynolds isnt Deadpool. He is prolly the only acter that could bring out that sarcasm. Thor was Badass in Ultimate avengers though, The fight with the hulk was badass.

A good Punisher movie would be the best thing possible.

I would love Deadpool I guess, but I think he would be better as a surprise cameo in a Spider-man or, better yet X-men, movie. A lot of the best Deadpool comics are when he is trying to be an X-man. (Shadowcats costume was hot on him) Hilarity ensues.

I'd love to see a Green Lantern movie, but I'm not sure how you could do one live action without it being complete cheese. If someone could pull that off, I'd be seriously impressed.

Deadpool can time travel with his belt, regenerate a little faster than wolverine, strength, and the inability to die. (Death likes deadpool, but thanos said they could never see one another again or some crap)

Also, I felt like throwing Lobo in the poll but it seemed almost impossible to do a movie on him. The Question and Etrigan seemed much easier to pull off, as far as movies go.

no one other than hardcore comic book fans knows about any of those characters except for maybe the flash so it is highly unlikely any of those possible movies would be very succesful. but then again, daredevil happened...

How many underground films have been made that only hardcore fans would read?? The list I put up wouldnt be hard to make into film. martian manhunter would be hard. The Question would be cool, paranoid bad ass out to crack conspiracies and bring down the government.

steel......That was horrible.
Then you have films like spawn and hellboy. But those are not under DC and Marvel
