| 10,000 B.C. This movie has such amazing potential. Unfortunately, i've read two pre-screen reviews now that say it is boring, predictable and by the end, you are sick of seeing woolly mammoths.

+39 Internets | Wow a prehistoric war epic with pointed sticks and shields made out of leather... where do I sign up? Did I see woolly mammoths at the pyramids? And I am sure sabertooth tigers stalked their prey, then got up in their faces and growled before eating them. |

Didn't we learn from the 300 thread that this type of movie should not be exposed to logic?

| As I have been passionate in the field of paleontology since I was like two... I will see anything that has prehistoric animals in it, horribly miscontrued/misrepresented or not, simply because I cannot get enough CGI of extinct creatures. That said, wow mammoths... whoopidy fucking doo. What I did find cool that no one mentioned was the Terror Bird that was chasing the one dude through the jungle, as most people aren't aware of their existence and think that 10k BC was just a planet of modern day animals + mammoths/Sabre tooth cats, thats it (although granted I am pretty sure the vast majority if not all terror birds were LONG extinct by 10k BC). Anyhow, looks dumb as fuck but I will see it anyhow, the movie industry claims another soul! |

| 300 was based on a Comic book adaptation of the real event. Thats what I thought we learned. 10,000bc is based on a comic book as well ? Either way, I think its from the makers of "The day after tommorrow" and "Independence Day". I have chalked this down to an eye candy movie only, anything else and I will be surprised. Edit Just to say it mentions the above in the trailer heh. I can't help thinking this would of been a leet vehicle for a conan movie.... Last edited by PosterOfStuff : 10-06-2007 at 11:45 PM. |

| This applies with almost everything. AvP Die Hard 4 The Ring And other various movies that shoulda been "R" So I take it it's not worth seeing then.
