You would be wrong, the egyptian builders wore eye makeup and oils when building the pyramids because it blocked the rays of the sun and kept their skin from getting all dry. Im pretty sure the first ever labor strike was in ancient egypt due to them running out of makeup

I know that. Still, the movie in question and hence the discussion that followed has by and large focussed on the people building the stuff; the hands-on, in-the-dirt, backbreaking-labour type of building that is.

Don't think I've seen egyption artifacts being mentioned anywhere in this thread until you started bitchin about them...
