There is no "ADVERTISEMENT Paid for by GM" displayed on screen when Transformers glamorizes GM vehicles. It's common practice to pay for a positive protrayal in movies. I see nothing wrong with the government doing so, as long as they aren't censoring/quashing movies that don't have a positive portrayal.

Definitely not the first episode however! I saw one guy wearing both a Lt. Col's oak leaves and enlisted stripes! I about fell out of my chair how horribly bad of a job the costume people did on that episode!
