Anytime I need a little pick me up, both those episodes do the job well.

I would have no problem at all with them continuing the series. There is so much more they could have done after the movie. You would have material for seasons to come.

On that note, since the rumor of another movie(Even direct to DvD), nothing else has been said.

Nothing really new on that site other then seeing Jewel Straite was in my city on the weekend and I missed it 8(

I wonder if it's too late to stalk her before she leaves....

Whedon was great at combining all the elements into one cohesive and believable milieu. I just reread this thread and I went out and bought the Firefly DVD. I was part of those folks who loved the movie but never watched the show.

Fuck you all for making me watch this. Now I'm gonna go cry for not having a 2nd movie.

Big firefly/serenity fan,but that being said there were some stuff in the Movie that I fucking hated.

A) Did we really need an explanation of how the reavers were produced.Some things should be kept a mystery ,and that is one of them.
Mals explanation in the TV series of them seeing the edge of the universe which made them nuts,was good enough for me.

B) One of the coolest characters with an unexplained backstory gets a bit role and dies in a fairly gay way. Yes he took out a battleship,but did they really need to kill his character off? I'm talking about Shepard BTW.Everyone wants to know who Shepard really was,and now we will never know.

C) That whole end fight with Mal and the operative was extremely corny. Joss could have done a much better job with that.

Wash Dieing takes alot from the show,as much as it pains me to say it..it might be best to let serenity rest in peace.
