+1 Internets | Could be cool. Something that always pissed me off about Tron though... is the lack of a GOOD video game based on it. It seems like such an easy concept to translate into a video game Even the KH2 level for Tron sucked ass... retarded mini game... bleh. |

| Moderately interested in this. Curious about whether they'd use modern computer graphics or go for the retro Tron 1.0 look.

| It's rough. Part of what made Tron great was it's geekiness. It used real programmer terms in a time when most people didn't even know what the fuck a keyboard was. If they go for nostalgia and simply update it, it's not going to do well. They really should opt for a Matrix'esque plotline. Use a deeper plot, good actors, and make it have much more suspense. And bring back Boxleitner, Boxleiter... aww fuck it, "Captain Sheridan" as the new MCP. I can never spell his name. edit: And yes to the above poster. They are making a movie out of "Joust". |

+7 Internets | At least the script is being written by Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, who current write for Lost. |

+2 Internets | Yeah, I think they might get away from the G rating of the first one. This would certianly intrigue me, as I loved the principle of the first one, even if it was a little cheesy. It would be interesting if they could work both Bruce and Jeff Bridges back into the story, just add 30 years. Oddly enough, even though it is almost 30 years old, the effects for the first one still look pretty good despite it's age. Oh, and I enjoyed Tron's Deadly Disk for the Intellivision. No, it was not an exact match to the movie, but it was a lot fo fun. |

| no i think it was one of those infinite games where points matter i also remember another intellevision game where you had to fight robots inside a labirinth. the only protection you had was hide yourself inside your bunker. It started with slow, easy to kill robots, and after a certain ammounnt of points stronger robots started to appear, untill you faced the invisible robot you could see only thanks to hit shots anyone remember it?
