| I must be getting old and getting more into those more mature relationship flicks - I thought the trailer looked pretty good. Subtle humor. Very good cast (as long as Mr. Cook stays away from his stand up material) and classic "love triangle" plot with a variety of family issues mixed in. Sorry it didn't have enough blood, porn, or "kewl" for some of you.

| Yeah, I don't really watch TV so most of my recommendations come from here, apple trailers and movie previews. Look for the Mr. Brooks thread here though, I don't think there was a single person that didn't like it and (minor spoiler that most people would see coming): Spoiler Alert, click show to read: Waiting's a necessity if you ever worked in a restaurant/have a sense of humor. He doesn't really play a large role in either, but he doesn't detract from the movies he's in nearly as much as you'd think he would. |

+31 Internets | Yeah, from what I've seen Dane Cook is a fairly impressive actor. I dislike his standup routine (like, I would rather crush my best friend's nuts with a bloated whale corpse than watch his piece of shit version of what he thinks humor is), but I have to give credit where credit is due.

| Saw this Saturday afternoon. Thought it was decent, pretty much a chick flick though. Dane Cook didn't bother me that much until towards the end of the movie. Decent date movie I guess, don't expect to me ROFLing though. |

+1 Internets | I saw this yesterday and, while it was not the most amazing movie ever, it is worth seeing. Definitely a date movie but it is humorous in parts and you could probably get by solo. Dane Cook didn't bother me in the movie, I actually think he did pretty well. It was cheesy and the plot is predictable but despite all that it was a good flick. |
