I just love every single movie Pixar has done so I just can't wait to see this one. Unfortunately the Swedish premier is September 5th... I really want to see it at the cinema but I'm not sure I'll be able to wait that long 8/

i loved Wall-E thought it was a wonderful movie, no problems with it as with every Pixar movie i have ever seen. the Pixar story was on starz too and i thought it was great, i didnt know there was a Toy Story 2, that montage with the little girl cowboy in it almost had me bawling. btw Wall-e is on bootleg off the net . not the best copy ever but good enough if you cant wait to see it.

Artistically I felt it was an amazing movie, a little preachy but dead on. It was cute and funny, but there moments where I found it pretty boring and predictable. I enjoyed Wall-E and it will probably go down as one of Pixar's best.. but as a viewing experience Kung Fu Panda was better imo :P It just entertained me from start to finish which Wall-E failed to do.

| Saw this last night. Probably my favorite Pixar to date. People need to stop being so touchy over supposed media influences. If pre-movie Cinemark commercials are to be believed, Wall-E was one of the few original ideas(along with Toy Story, Finding Nemo and something else, I believe), and was thought up a few years before the Global Warming agenda hit it's stride. I don't believe it was intended to "make a point" as a current issue. Simply as a setting for the story. Anyway, Pixar employs geniuses. They conveyed entire conversations using nothing but verbal inflections and eye curvature that any age group could understand. And on top of that, they added more emotion to the movie(with those 2 elements) than any other film on the screen right now. Absolutely brilliant.

As always, I love the pixar animation and how they manage to tell the story with animated characters. It did feel a little preachy and band wagony but if, as mentioned above, this is an old story that they finally got to tell then it was simply my current filter that made it feel that way to me.

Saw it today, thought it was great. I really like how Wall-E started out his day with WD-40 and a wrench in his cooler on the way to work. I also really enjoyed the Peter Gabriel song over the painting montage and the 8-bit retelling during the ending. Oh, and the Captains "Wikipedia moment", where he starts by looking up info on dirt and ends up at Pizza and dancing. Last edited by Angerz : 07-09-2008 at 04:53 PM.
