Could also use a private torrent invite myself. While I am using Peerguardian 2, I get worried that it may not be enough judging by the posts I read.

It isn't enough. Peerguardian just blocks "known" IPs that are used. A lot of RIAA people now are using their home IPs to gather data. Sure it helps, but will it stop them from finding you? No. If they want to get you they will. Ironically, the only time I received a letter from my cable company was when I was using Peerguardian. Nothing happened though and that was 4-5 years ago.

bitme.org seems pretty decent for technical books, and what.cd has a decent comic and book selection.

With great difficulty. Basically, look through every single cd you have, no matter how pointless, obscure, and no matter how sure you are that nobody will ever download it. Then go to the library and check out all of the book on cd's you can find that aren't on what.cd yet and upload it all. Then, if you're lucky enough to see freeleeches before the bulk of the community, download those immediately and you'll have 10 thousand people downloading off you.

wish they had a system similar to IPTorrents... the longer I host the files, even if people dont download them accrue points. Turn points into upload credit. Download albums I really want rather than waiting to build enough ratio because no one else wanted to download the specific hard to find album and even when they do, not connecting to me for some reason...

Here's a good tip: it's easier to maintain ratio on waffles rather than what. So when I download an album from waffles/anywhere, I go to what.cd, find the same album, and see if it was ripped by the same person/the data is a perfect match. Then do a force-recheck and seed that album onto what.cd instead. Little less than a third of my what.cd seeds came from waffles, so that's pretty substantial.

All you have to make sure is that you're not announcing your UL/DL stats to both sites at once (ie. the same torrent shouldn't have two private trackers inside), because that's considered ratio cheating and could get you banned.

Yeah, IPtorrents has got a very generous system. Freeleeches all over the place, bonuses, invites, and it's still one of the best sites out there. What.cd is a dick of a site. I've got a good 40 torrents uploading to that site at any given time, but in 2 months something like 2g uploaded total. Which means that it's my last resort for downloading music I actually want, now.
