Anyone know what the best version of windows 7 is out there for DL? Downloading one off IPT right now but Im kind of sketchy about it.

Good till like June, then can switch to RTM.

I got 3 IPT invites as well. First 3 to PM me with email will get it. It'd be cool if you have a tvtorrent or some other private tracker invite to trade, but not necessary.

Nope. Uploaded probably around 4TB in the last year, since I started using torrents. Downloaded maybe 1.5TB.

Anyone know why I only get 1.7 kB/s upload speed? I'm using uTorrent for IPTorrents to try to get my ratio up but it'll take forever at this rate... Download speed is often 1.5 MB/s, so I don't know why it would be that slow

Could be a few things

1) Torrent client has its upload limit set (im a bitch and set it to like 1k when playing games)

2) ISP might be throttling outbound torrent traffic (have heard stories of this happening)

3) tracker might be shit

4) the peers you're connecting to dont need the pieces you have.

possibly a few more im not thinking of right now.

I have it at unlimited upload speed right now, but with 20 peers it's going at 50kB/s. I'm using Comcast so not sure if they are throttling it at all...

how do you forward the ports?

I'm 99% sure that's the reason why your upload speed is so low. That's what happens on private trackers.

50KB/s is probably the cap for your connection. Comcast standard cable service has a pretty low up bandwidth.

Also recommended:

If you have a DSL modem, look up how to put it in to transparent bridge mode. Oftentimes DSL modems have firewalls built in. Oftentimes routers have firewalls built in. DSL firewall + router firewall = crap

50KB/s is the standard upload cap for Comcast, that's exactly right. so if you're seeing that, then no issues with your connection as far as anything you yourself can tweak.

so more than likely then its the tracker not connecting you to other peers properly or as said earlier, they just don't need what you have to send. (which is the issue i have personally on private trackers). I have learned though, the stuff that never seems to fail to have someone interested is porn, use that if you wanna work up your ratio.

Wont the free leeches build your ratio up pretty fast?? Watchmen Directors cut just came out on IPT as a free leech. Also I have a couple invites left for IPtorrents if anyone needs one
