| Yeah. HDBits is sealed up tight. Even my old method I'd use to tell people how to obtain invites has been nixed. Personally I think it's a little overboard. They just need to hire a couple good coders to make their security script airtight--then they could operate like a normal tracker. Closing up invites is only encouraging the behavior they're trying to stop. HDBits invites are in greater demand every month that passes without opening them up formally. So it only makes sense that some people would see dollar signs when the invites do open up--and the whole cycle starts over again. |

+4 Internets | Whats the story with ipTorrents? They seemed to have locked down invites now. I only have 1 to give away. I had 6 shortly ago.

| According to the places I frequent, that has always been the plan for ipTorrents. Make it nearly open registration and build community then close things off and make it a bit more exclusive. As for HD movies... Pass the Popcorn seems to have a pretty good selection and isn't that hard to get in to. It doesn't specialize in HD-only content though. |

| I don't have any invites personally, sorry. Check the invite threads on the trackers your already a member of. Chances are they're being given away there pretty readily. Underground-Gamer power user forums are a good source for common invites. If your not already a PU there, I'd recommend it. |

+3 Internets | Somewhat related to torrents, anyone far surpassed their bandwidth 'limits' and been charged by their providers? Cox has a 10gb DL limit here in Vegas under my current plan, friend and I try not to pass it too much, but we're both also pretty sure it's a guideline that they have in place to crack down on people who are suddenly doing 40-100gb/month or something crazy, and not 'oops, 12gb!'. I've probably come close to doubling it a couple months ago, as I reinstalled some Steam games on a fresh install of windows that I forgot to save the data for. |

| No limits here but I would be fucked at 10gb a month. I'm pretty sure i'm up some where around 30-40gb down every month - maybe double that if a few decent movies / games are released. I do download all my TV off of torrents since i don't have tvio tho. |
