| Max Payne trailer its short and doesn't show much of anything but its out there. it is independent but hopefully it will deliver the atmosphere of the games. Max Payne - Payne and Redemption

| It being an independent film actually gives me a lot of hope for it being a good movie than if it was a major hollywood production. I will be really pissed if they turn it into an action flick instead of the film noir it should be. Also, while on the subject of Max Payne, I really enjoyed the first game but never got around to playing the second. Would it be worth my time to find it and pick it up? Comparisons to the first game? |

| If you liked the first game you should love the second. They kept the same formula and maybe added a handful of new stuff, but nothing so noteworthy that I actually remember it specifically. Movie looks kinda sketch >.> |

+24 Internets | I liked the second one better than the first actually. Primarily because the slow-motion bar would regenerate on its own rather than having to kill more people to refill it. I remember it being shorter than the first one, but its been quite awhile since I played either. The storyline is still pretty good if you like that style though. |

| This is just a short independent film, fyi. I think they said it's going to clock in at around 17 minutes. I'm not exactly sure what you can do with Max Payne in less than half the length of a standard TV show.... As far as real movies go, Fox still owns the rights last I heard, but I don't think they're actually doing anything with it at the moment. And Max Payne 2 was a great game that you should definitely play. I liked the level design and story at least as well as the first game, and the addition of Mona Sax was a nice touch. The only negative part really was the redesigned bullet time--I thought it was better in the first game.. Physics were added for MP2 also.

+6 Internets | The second one was good, but the level in the construction yard was nuts. NO MAX STOP RUNNING INTO MOBS. Either of the games would make an epic movie. It's basically a movie already, just take the game..and make it a movie. |
