I don't get it, is the fact that they even bothered to engage in that interview supposed to show that they aren't respected?

Oh thanks for posting those debates, I didnt realize they were on Youtube. I loved watching those two idiots get bitchslapped by the Popular Mechanics guys. It's especially good when the one kid gets pounded so hard he resorts to using "lies" every other word heh.

The cell phone part was good too:

Quote:
"So you're saying cell phones worked on planes in 2001?"

"Yes."

"In 2001??"

"Yes"

"They worked?"

"Yes. We have many phone logs of conversations and voice mails left"

"So uhh why did the Airlines pay for new cell towers after that then if they worked so great! huh? huh?"

"uhh... why do you ever buy a new computer or a new car or a new tv? Cause maybe newer technology makes things work better you fucking retard?"

"Whatever... that's not our best evidence anyway"

"Whatever is right, bitch"
Well... I'm paraphrasing, but that's basically the conversation

I hate how 95% of PM's responses are "this is from the day of or the days thereafter so of course people are going to say..." - Rarely do either of these people argue fact vs fact. Basically PM completely dismisses everything people on the scene says. Loose Change definitely doesn't help their cause either in some of those videos.

Basically that argument was pointless. They try to fit it into way too short of a program so neither side has enough time to present their 'facts' convincingly .

Why is it that all these conspiracy theories are always so elaborate and convoluted? The government is engaging in a huge cover-up which involves several hundred if not thousand people in order to accomplish some inane goal which could have been accomplished without the elaborate ploy just as well. The "government" cant even keep leaks regarding simple CIA operations in check - how the hell do you propose they kept an operation of such monumental scope quiet for so long? Also, no one would have given a shit about invading Afghanistan either way and to link the Iraq invasion to 9/11 is silly.
It seems that all these conspiracy theorists have a great aversion to Occam's razor .

Yeah Loose Change looks like radical conspiracy theorist when they're asked their own opinion or just start slurring the other guys. It really hurts their argument.

Honestly, first day information is generally the most accurate, because it isn't later skewed by "Well maybe it was this" "Maybe these people paid me to stfu" etc.

On that note, I doubt shit that went down was as elaborate as the kids from LC make it out to be, but my opinion is the government knew a lot more about this operation before it took place than they let on and let it transpire so they could platform off of it.

What do they have to gain from it? War, money, power. Simple, basic human greed my friends.

Should I point you back to the Chris Benoit story less than a month ago to disprove this statement?

When I was in high school a decade ago, and the internet was new, I used to read every conspiracy story, new age mumbo jumbo, paranormal crap I could click a link to. I listened to Art Bell every night, etc.

I've heard a lot of bullshit. I've seen a lot of bullshit proven to be nonsense. So take it from me. I saw the first video of that Loose Change series, and all I could think was "damn, those Popular Mechanics guys are too kind." Everything they said made perfect sense. The Loose Change guys sounded like the nuts I used to listen to on the radio.

Right. Every single last person involved in this huge conspiracy, easily numbering into the thousands, was 100% on board because they were profiting or gaining power from it. And magically there was not a single solitary soul amongst the thousands with a shred of moral fibre to come forward and say "hey wait, this is wrong" and tear it all to pieces.

Clearly Bush did it all by himself (ok, Cheney may have helped).

I don't really buy all this 9/11 conspiracy bullshit, but this quote is hilarious, because that's exactly what the government did.

Next time, read my fucking post nit wit. I didn't say there was some huge plot involving thousands, or even hundreds, of people. I said that higher ups probably chose to ignore a threat so they could further their agendas.

It isn't the fucking first time it's happened either. Read about Pearl Harbor and the fact they knew WEEKS in advance that shit was coming and did nothing about it so that America could enter the war.

You mean read the retarded conspiracy theory about Pearl Harbor to prove the retarded conspiracy theory about 9/11? They knew "shit was coming" is a good one too. Guess what, shit is always coming. Bin Laden wants to attack us now too and has for the past 10 damn years. So if and when it happens again I guess whoever is in charge then "knew about it" and "let it happen!!!"

I dont know what to say, some people just eat this shit up with a spoon and ask for seconds. They'll believe Pearl Harbor and 9/11 can be executed and covered up but a blow job cant.

This is exactly what I'm thinking. All they say is "we spoke to the experts and they told us soandso," or, "go talk to the experts and they will give you the answers." They also said the hole in the pentagon is 90 feet wide. No proof to back it up. Same with the plane. They didn't explain where the tail section, the wings or the engines went. One thing they did is prove the guys at Loose Change that the Ryan dude have no background to be making claims about steel melting though they didn't even give evidence that the building would collapse from burning fuel engine.

The guys at PM were also given the 80 something videos that were never released to the public to "study" on the matter even though they aren't "expert." Such a pointless argument. Basically went on air and said experts told us this and you're wrong. GG? I don't believe in the conspiracy theories behind 9/11 but put some fucking experts to crush them to the ground if you want to do an interview.

I imagine the talented people who would qualify as experts have better things to do than sit around and argue with some crackpot conspiracy theorists.
