With the way they ended DS9, I'm not even sure how they COULD make a movie with it honestly. Not without coming with retarded reason after retarded reason to reunite the entire crew.

It was kind of far fetched as it was when Worf showed up in First Contact with the Defiant as the only senior officer from DS9 on it. I don't think they could have pulled off a DS9 movie.

the end of Voyager could have been a good point for making a movie, something like bringing the Borg/Spiece 8472 conflict in Alpha quadrant. Unfortunatelly they ended the serie with that weak epilogue

I really don't give a shit about what film critics have to say about a movie. TBH, I often come here to read what people think about a given movie before I choose to spend money on it. That said, this film is actually getting good reviews.

But Arakkis, you just got done telling us how you are too cool to listen to reviews, why are you providing a shitty movie review link below?

That's true, and the reason I am linking this review here is because sci fi films don't often get good reviews. So I want to know if you guys think that if a movie critic likes a sci fi film, it means it is going to be fucking terrible.

the end of the travesty that is voyager was a good day for star trek overall besides, the Holodoc had his small Cameo in First Contact and Janeway in Nemesis so that should cover the "Voyager crew in a movie!!!1" part quite well and any more than that is not needed

Maybe Harry Kim will be in the new Star Trek movie and will get dumped/get a venereal disease by/from an alien. That'll complete the cameos.

it more than likely has cg explosions, tight ass, big tits, pretty people, cool one-liners, and no plot to speak of; ie, 'for the next generation movie-goers'.

that's why it'll get good reviews and probably do well at the box office.

They should redo the dominion war with big budget effects and a lot more people dying and shit.

All you need for a DS9 movie is Sisko, Worf, Miles and Garrack. And maybe Quark.

I want a new star trek tv series

Bryan Fuller was talking about trying to get one going again based around the new movie era.
