a.) Mujahideen is an arabic term, not a pashto or persian one, so the term did infact come with the Taliban (or its predecessors).

b) Afghan warlords, which you likely refer to, always have and for the forseeable future likely will switch back and forth between Northern Alliance, Taliban, ISI and whoever else is willing to hand out guns, cash and other goodies at a moments notice. They look after themselves or get darwined out of existence. There's not much space for alliences based on either sympathy or antipathy in non-Kabul Afghanistan.

Go check out aintitcool.com, they have plenty of reviews up, and all of which seem good. The most repeated analogy I see is that it's like the Normandy Beach scene of Saving Private Ryan x50 in gore.

Yeah it's been getting very good non-paid critic reviews, surprised! I really can't wait for this movie. It feels like it's been forever since I've seen a badass movie like Rambo for some reason.. well I did see Commando yesterday.
