| Saw it a long time ago, but the part that sticks out most in my mind is the tripped out ghost crack fiend guy(lacking a better description) as he's flying around destroying everything. Haven't watched it a second time yet but I agree that it was pretty fucking cool. |

| It was fucking awesome, the 3 vampires D has to fight kick some ass, and the ending was nice and long so that it kicked ass, The last battle was pretty weak though. I loved that flick but I wish D and that big baddie *forgot his name* would've had a long sword fight |

+1 Internets | Would have been much improved by subtitles, however.

| "Am I the only one who finds anime (a.k.a. "Japanimation") impossible to watch?" No. But I could see why you would hate anime. It requires a lot more creativity to watch, then say, Blade 2 or XXX. Anime is simply moving representational artwork. There is a fine line between bad anime (DragonballZ) and great anime (Princess Mononoke, Ghost in the Shell etc.) Get extremely high and watch Akira alone. It'll convert you. Edit: Oh I want to know what you don't like about Anime. Just curious, I wont flame you. |

| Good Anime I suggest Princess Mononoke for sure. Neon Genesis is another great series. Akira is a classic, it's what started it for me. If you like EQ, which is a good chance, check out Record of Lodoss War. I am waiting for Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke was awsome. Fear my kodamas. Edit: oh ya, D. Bloodlust has a lot more of the Action you wish would have been in the original. There didn't seem to be as many "spooky" scenes, but the action made up for it. It was a great movie. |

| Anime is usualy very odd, and usualy very good. Good anime movies are fun to watch and sometimes it is hard to find a good one that is not well known. I found Princess M off some random internet site 1 year pre its american debue and like it alot. Vampire Hunter D is also a good movie, but always beware the odd like Plastic Little and stupid like DBGT and overly depressing like Windaria. Akira needs to be seen in one sitting, and then again, and one more time to filther thrue and make sence, that is if you care.

| In regards to Gasaraki, I bought the DVDs as they were coming out and have the whole series, but my memory is a little rusty. Al I truely remember is how painfull it was to watch the DVDs knowing that it would be a month before I would see more. I think the series kept getting better and better as it went on. I do love the music in that series though. The song playing during the credits is very nice. Personally I love anime, I find that I become more attached to the characters in Anime for some reason. It is very hard to explain but I have an easier time believing anime...sounds odd I know. Especially in Grave of the Fireflies, goodness that movie made me cry, was the first movie to do so in many years. I would have to say Akira was the first anime I saw and that hooked me, it was so good. Then I moved on through Evangelion, Escaflowne, Rurouni Kenshin/Samuai X(very good movies). I liked Ghost in the Shell myself, animation was just beautiful and I thought that the story was done well too. As for anime being hard to watch...it does not click with some people, I have friends that cannot fathom why I do enjoy it as much as I do. I guess it just depends on your personality, though I agree with Ecksi I would not mind knowing what you find hard to watch about it.

| Evangelion is classic. So strange and so well done. I've seen them all on DVD. Cowboy Bebop, Bubblegum Crisis, Tenchi OAV, Slayers....all fav's of mine. A couple years ago my 2 best friends were HUGE anime fans, and I got to watch almost everything decent that had been released. Anyways, anime rocks, and I think i'll try to go find this 2nd Vampire Hunter D movie now that it was mentioned to kick ass =)
