I can't say I liked it more than IM but I liked it at least as much.

They did a phenomenal job on the hulk, the final fight scenes were fueled and fun to watch. The CGI in parts was a little to CGI and then in other parts it was just spot on. Norton was great to.

Favorite part of the whole movie :

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
After the chopper crashes and Betty is looking out of it with the Fire, the Abomination jumps on the roof. Hulk looks up and gives this little half assed disgusted smirk, like oh fuck, it's you again, great... it's an Edward Norton trademark . That in itself gave the Hulk all the personality it needed to tie him in with Banner. I thought it was a brilliant touch.

You missed what really happened. Or at least there was more to it.

Hulk's blood got into the wound on his head, and he started to transform as well. In case you didn't know, he becomes The Leader, Hulk's other archnemesis.

He has signed on to be in the sequel, along with Doc Samson.

All in all, I didn't think it was as good as Ironman, but i still thought it was fucking great. The cameos, the nods, the soundtrack were all very strong.

I thought that this was the best (green) Hulk movie you could expect - and coming from the director of The Transporter, I'm doubly shocked.

It's just that there's not a lot to The Hulk, especially before the Grey era - doubly so when the origin story has already been covered.

I'll admit, I am impressed with what Marvel is doing with their self-financed movies; they've also given themselves quite a mountain to climb with some of their future picks (Giant-Man & Avengers). Should be interesting.

Giant-Man? Why bother? Who the fuck cares about Giant-Man?

Yeah but that movie was killed by word of mouth. I would think it seems most people are pretty positive about this movie.

My guess, it will surpass domestically what Ang Lee brought in, which was around 134 mil? I would say 150-160ish at the end.

This is the test, like you stated:
From E! Online:
Quote:
In 2003, it wasn't just that Hulk didn't score a $100 million debut, à la Spider-Man the year before, it was that business dropped a stunning 70 percent in its second weekend.

Can The Incredible Hulk avoid a similar week-two plunge?

Awesome movie. Action was better than Ironman action, but Ironman had better dialogue/humor I thought.

I enjoyed it. A little too much 'Beauty and the Beast' at times, but understandable for the origin. Last 5 minutes at the bar scene were just bad ass. I have a total man crush on Downey Jr.
