I've never heard of Speed Racer so I have no opinion other than what the trailer has given me. That being said, it looks retarded but fun.

Now they just need to make a movie out of Ridge Racer.

If someone told me years ago that I would be jazzed to see a live action Speed Racer movie, I would have punched them squarely in the nexgen creator.

It's marketed as a family movie. That being said it's going to be retarded fun. I still think I'll only Netflix it.

Maybe I'm not watching the same trailer as you guys or something, but that looks like complete garbage to me. The race scenes look stupid as hell, and the acting is already looking terrible.
